FurdoFurdo

From first conversation to handover

A Furdo home usually takes about thirteen weeks from sign-off. Here is what happens, and when.

Passage of a completed Furdo home
  1. Week 0

    Consultation

We meet at your home or ours, walk through the plan, and talk about how the household actually lives — who cooks, who works late, what has to be put away by Sunday night.

  2. Week 1

    Designer shortlist

You are matched with three designers whose work fits your brief and your apartment. You meet them, see their homes, and choose one to stay with your project.

  3. Weeks 2–4

    Design and renders

Your designer draws on your real floor plan and returns high-definition photoreal renders room by room. Material, hardware and lighting decisions are made against those images.

  4. Week 5

    Sign-off and measurement

Final site measurement is taken after possession, drawings are frozen, and the estimate is confirmed against measured running feet rather than an average.

  5. Weeks 6–10

    Manufacturing

Woodwork is produced in our own facility on branded certified ply with Hettich hardware, machine-cut to the frozen drawing set.

  6. Weeks 11–13

    Installation

Our own installation team fits the home against the same drawings, with services, lighting circuits and stone coordinated in sequence.

  7. Handover

    Snagging and warranty

We walk the home with you, close the snag list, and hand over with a ten-year warranty on the woodwork we manufactured.
